POWER YOGA (SIMULCAST LIVE)
Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, linking them with your breath. Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike.
My style is to take you through a variation of Sun A & Sun B to warm up the spine and then the hips. Then we learn a flow in chunks and put it all together for that dance with breath. We then move into core work and cool down, finally landing in that magical end pose - savasana.
You are encouraged to share any specific body part you might need to address in your practice in that moment. I do my best to honor requests and tailor portions of class for you.
Due to Covid regulations in St. Louis County, class is limited to 12 mats in the large room at YogaSix Des Peres. You will need to bring your own mat and props, and hands on assists are not offered at this time. We mask up from door to mat, and if you are comfortable practicing without a mask you are welcome to do so. I will stay on my mat and guide from the front of the room. The room has a mirrored wall at the front.
