Center yourself while crafting. Let’s intersect mindfulness and art again! This time creating macrame at Southtown Healing + Arts. Learn the basics of macrame with a modern twist while making the beautiful wall hanging seen in the photo. (Dip dying optional). This class will introduce students to common macrame knots and give them the foundation to start creating their own piece. All supplies are included so participants can take their new creation home and hang it up right away! This is a beginner macramé class. If you’d like to bring your own piece of driftwood, feel free. It should be about 16 inches long and no more than an inch in diameter. Otherwise dowel rods will be supplied.
All Materials Provided. (No dip dye however. But instructions for doing this portion at home will be provided along with an example)
Final piece is approximately 16 inches wide by 24+ inches tall.
