Debby’s Self Discovery
Forever a student of this mighty practice, it was in her forties that Debby discovered yoga and the healing it grants the body and mind. It has helped her navigate many of life’s transitions since, including a career shift into the humbling role of yoga teacher. Debby creatively guides yoga students with her earthy mix of attentive alignment, fluid movement and breath awareness. She encourages curiosity about the practice and often uses props to further enhance the asana experience. Debby’s fresh ideas engage people’s imaginations as students are whisked away from routine and carried along on magical yoga journeys with inspiration woven into every class, workshop, and event she leads. With no shortage of causes she champions, Debby lives her mantra “I possess infinite potential” every day.

01/30/2019(1 event) 4:30 pm: SLOW FLOW – Slow Flow at Yoga Six is a combination of accessible postures, fluid movement and breath practiced in a warm room. With a slower pace than Power Yoga or Vinyasa, there’s time to explore both alignment and sensation within individual postures during each full-body experience. Debby thrives teaching this mixed level yoga class available to all humans. Her Slow Flow is a therapeutic dance of moving meditation. After pranayama (breathwork), pratapana (warming up the spine) and Sun Salutations, we will move through a sequence of postures slow enough to refine and strengthen each pose, without feeling rushed into the next move, next breath, or next pose. Slow Flow allows a person to become familiar with his or her body, create a reflective pause, and create the time to go inward. 12360 Manchester Rd #206 St. Louis, MO 63131 United States 314-821-1878 |

02/15/2019(1 event) 7:00 pm: ACCOMPLICE YOGA – VALENTINE’S WEEKEND YOGAPartner Play Workshop at Southtown YogaValentine’s weekend need not be reserved only for those who are romantically involved. However you relate to your “Ride or Die,” your Thelma or Louise, your “erase my phone” person, bring them to this playful, intimacy building workshop Friday, February 15, While Valentine’s Day might tend toward those involved at a physical level (and we applaud them too) but let’s agree that it doesn’t have to be only about couples in a sexually bonded relationship. We all have that Thelma to our Louise, that Ethel or Ricky to our Lucy. That person might be your lover, or not. So this Valentine’s weekend, why not try out a partner-based experience designed to enhance intimacy of all types. Bring your “ride or die” to Accomplice Yoga led by Candace Glass and Debby Siegel at Southtown Yoga Friday, February 15, 7-8:30pm and experience a 90-minute yoga event where we’ll indulge in some cacao treats, practice some partner massaging, yoga and stretching, eye gaze and finish with a candle light meditation. You find and bring that human who you just know would erase your hard drive should you need it! Let’s celebrate intimacy of all kinds. This 90-minute experience is $20/person, and you’ll register as a duo. Bring a yoga mat if you have one. If not, we have extras. We’ll raid the prop closet and be certain to offer many cozy, happy moments in our playful time together. 1905 Park Ave Saint Louis, MO 63104 United States 314-669-4190 |
